Cathy    Delvin, Westmeath

"I cannot stop talking about the benefits of Bowen Therapy. I am a very active person who works out most days in gym, mostly powerlifting but also running/cycling most days. I lift extremely heavy weights and after my first two sessions of Bowen my lifts increased 20kg, this blew my mind. I felt any tightness in my muscles ease and my body became stronger. I have no lower back pain anymore from an old injury, and recently pulled a calve muscle while running, after a Bowen session the muscle is no longer tender. And I can run comfortably again. Bowen is a therapy I cannot live without now that I’ve experienced the benefits. I would highly recommend to anybody who lives an active lifestyle"

Reflexology

This practice is rooted in the belief that these points correspond to different organs and body systems, offering a range of health benefits. Among the reported advantages of reflexology are stress and anxiety reduction, pain relief, mood enhancement, and an overall improvement in well-being. Additionally, reflexology is said to support immune system function, aid in recovery from back problems, and contribute to hormonal balance. Cupping Therapy

Therapeutic cupping is a form of alternative medicine that has been practiced for thousands of years, with roots in ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. This technique involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, which is believed to promote healing by increasing blood flow and stimulating the immune system. The benefits of cupping therapy are numerous, ranging from pain and inflammation relief to muscle relaxation and improved well-being. It is also considered a deep-tissue massage technique, helping to alleviate the stiffness associated with various conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia. Moreover, cupping is recognized for its potential to improve peripheral blood circulation, enhance cellular immunity, and increase pain thresholds. As a non-invasive and relatively inexpensive treatment option, cupping therapy offers a unique approach to health and wellness, supporting the body's natural healing processes.

Bowen is an holistic remedial body technique that works on the mechanoreceptors and soft connective tissue (fascia) of the body. Bowen therapy can be used to treat musculoskeletal or related neurological problems including acute sports injuries and chronic or organic conditions. It is gentle and relaxing and does not use forceful manipulation.

Bowen therapy is performed on the superficial and deep fascia. The fascia, or soft tissue, is the part of the connective tissue that envelops, separates and influences every organ and tissue in the body. The gentle moves are performed in precise locations to gain maximal influence of the receptors of the nervous system with minimal inputs.

The Bowen technique is safe to use on anyone, from newborns to the elderly and for any musculoskeletal or related neuromuscular complaint. It is a holistic treatment that treats the whole person and aims to treat the cause of problems, rather than the symptoms
